Saturday, June 19 was the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict. To bring attention to this issue, Andrew interviewed Tirham* who provides trauma care to persecuted believers who have faced sexual violence in sub-Saharan Africa. She talks about the process of trauma care, the difference of having faith in recovering from trauma and shares a bit about the situation facing persecuted believers who have experienced sexual violence. She’ll also give us ways we can pray for believers who have faced such trauma.
Warning: This conversation does discuss sexual violence and abduction. It may not be appropriate for younger audiences and could be triggering for some.
