Pause: A Moment for the Persecuted Church

A few minutes, once a month, to Pause and pray for our persecuted family.

Our desire is to see believers across Canada praying regularly for the persecuted church.

Our new initiative, Pause, is geared towards helping churches across Canada connect regularly with their persecuted family around the world. It is intended to be a pause from our regular Sunday morning programs to remember our persecuted family and lift them up in prayer.

Every month, a new toolkit in both English and French will be available for churches to download for free! The toolkit will include a video story, prayer points and graphics to be used by your church or adapted in whatever way works best for your church.

You may choose to play the video on Sunday morning or have a leader retell the story and pray collectively. You may choose to share the video on your church’s social channels, or you maybe just want to post the prayer requests during a gathering.

Pause takes no more than 5 minutes but can have an eternal impact.

YOUR YEAR-END GIFT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER.

Persecution is growing, and so are the needs of persecuted believers. More Christians need Bibles, discipleship, trauma counselling, and relief aid as they face violence, displacement, and loss.

The Canada Post strikes slowed the arrival of gifts during this critical time of year. Will you help?

Your support will empower persecuted believers through Bibles, training, relief aid, trauma counselling, and more.
